The girls slo-pitch season began May 8th with the Pink Ribbon invitational tournament which has held at the Barrie Community Sports Complex. The Innisdale Invaders captured the championship tournament banner with a record of 4-0. The Stayner Collegiate Spartans won the tournament consolation banner with a record of 3-1. Proceeds from the tournament will be donated to Canadian Cancer Society.
