Barrie North congratulates the Sr Boys Rugby team for winning the 2019 OFSAA AAA Rugby Consolation Championship on June 8th by defeating JF Ross from Guelph, Sacred Heart from Ottawa and Brantford Collegiate after dropping their opening game to the host side Brooklin HS. The championship is the perfect ending for coaches Ron Andrews and Steve Porter who will be retiring after 20 years together on the pitch. It was also the culmination of an outstanding career for a host of 12 pluses who were the backbone of the team. Many thanks for the support shown to the team throughout the season.
