ISS Invader Jr student-athlete, Jadyn Keeler, capped off a very successful year with two medals at the OFSAA Track & Field championship meet held at the University of Guelph June 6-8.  Jadyn a three sport athlete (cross-country, nordic skiing and track and field) qualified for OFSAA in all three. The CCI Fighting Owls Jr AAA rugby team reached the Barbarian Cup finals on June 10th by defeating Brooklin High School 17-12 in the semi finals. The championship game had CCI face Streetsville High School. The Fighting Owls scored with 90 seconds remaining in the game to take a 20-19 lead. On the last play of the game Streetsville responded and won the game 22-20.

The ESS Wildcats slo-pitch team defeated JOA today by a score of 14-2 in the inaugural AAA Simcoe Cup. The EDHS Spartans slo-pitch team defeated St. Joseph’s today by a score of 12-0 in the inaugural A/AA Simcoe Cup.

Barrie North congratulates the Sr Boys Rugby team for winning the 2019 OFSAA AAA Rugby Consolation Championship on June 8th by defeating JF Ross from Guelph, Sacred Heart from Ottawa and Brantford Collegiate after dropping their opening game to the host side Brooklin HS.
