The NSSS Tritons SR AAA girls rugby team defeated the BNCI Vikings 43-7 in the combined SCAA/GBSSA championship on May 28th which was played at Georgian College’s J.C. Massie field. The boys rugby playoffs commenced May 27th at the Barrie Community Sports Complex with the Jr’s completing the quarter & semi final rounds while the seniors completed the semi final round. The SCAA baseball playoffs took place May 27th at the Barrie Community Sports Complex. In the semi finals the Innisdale Invaders defeated the CCI Fighting Owls 12-10. The girls slo-pitch season began May 8th with the Pink Ribbon invitational tournament which has held at the Barrie Community Sports Complex. The Innisdale Invaders captured the championship tournament banner with a record of 4-0. The Stayner Collegiate Spartans won the tournament consolation banner with a record of 3-1. Proceeds from the tournament will be donated to Canadian Cancer Society.
